Are dead people watching us? Should we be afraid of them? Knowledge is power that lights up the darkness within us, while the truth sets us free and gives us freedom from the torment of fear and confusion. The topic about the state of deceased people is so controversial; especially that All Soul’s Day for the year 2010 is coming up. In this regard, I will not answer this question through my own human wisdom and understanding. Instead, I will let the Holy Scriptures give us the answer on the question… do dead people watch us, think about us and speak with us? Read more

Why is Idolatry a serious sin? Why is it that worshipping statues and carved images an abomination to the Lord?
Idolatry is one of the greatest sins a man could commit. In fact, it was said in the Bible that no idolater will enter the kingdom of God.
Galatians 5:19-21 (NKJV)
Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. How to recognize and identify a false preacher?
It is very important to discern a true preacher, whom is from God, from a false preacher. A false lawyer may bring you to jail and a false doctor may bring you in graveyard. But the worst of all is a false preacher – because it may bring you to hell. The danger in listening and following a false preacher is critical. Hence we must always test every preacher, every words and every spirit that they bring. Read more

What is the greatest and most important commandment in the law?
There may be millions of laws in the world today (from different nations) governing their own people’s moves and actions. In everything we do, there is a law that governs it. As I write this article, I may be governed by the laws relating to media and the press. I am also bounded by the commandments of God, which include not to lie, not to go beyond what is written, not to be iniquitous, and other commandments pertaining to preaching. Now, I can tell that it is very important to know the commandment that is above all commandments. This is the commandment that is the foundation of all commandments and laws. So what is it? Read more

To avoid curse from God, we must be consistently obedient of His commandments and avoid committing sins.

“Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse: the blessing, if you obey the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you today; and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you today, to go after other gods which you have not known. How to Bless Our Home?

How to bless our house – our home?
If we will read the Bible, it is not the water, nor the ceremony, nor the luscious food and the wines, nor the coins that make our home blessed. It is God who blesses our house and everyone who’s residing on it (our home). He blesses the home of the people who are just and righteous. No matter how grand is your house blessings party and ceremony, if you will stay in wickedness and sins, your home will not be blessed by God. It may even be cursed by Him. Thus, if we want to make our home blessed by God, let us be righteous and not become wicked.
Proverbs 3:33 (NIV)
The LORD’s curse is on the house of the wicked, but he blesses the home of the righteous.
Proverbs 3:33 (NKJV)
The curse of the LORD is on the house of the wicked, But He blesses the home of the just.
